Privacy Policy

This page is maintained by SureFire Carrier to explain what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is not a certification or third-party audit; it is a plain-English description of our current practices.

Information we collect

  • Account info — name, email, password (hashed), company name, DOT/MC numbers, home state, equipment type, and any details you add in Settings.
  • Operational data you enter — loads, fuel entries, expenses, trucks, contacts, reminders, messages, and notes.
  • Billing info — handled by Stripe. We store a Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see or store full card numbers.
  • Usage data — basic logs of when you sign in, features you use, and errors so we can keep the app working. We may add product analytics in the future; if we do, we'll tell you here.

How we use it

  • To provide the Service (show your data back to you, run calculators, generate AI Dispatch replies).
  • To process payments via Stripe.
  • To send transactional messages (welcome, receipts, renewal reminders, security alerts).
  • To improve reliability, performance, and features.
  • To respond to support requests you send us.

Who we share it with (subprocessors)

We only share what's needed with vendors that operate the Service on our behalf:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, storage.
  • Stripe — subscription billing and payments.
  • Lovable AI Gateway — routes AI Dispatch prompts to underlying model providers (currently Google Gemini). Prompts include the equipment type and home state on your profile but not billing info.
  • Cloudflare — content delivery and edge runtime.

We do not sell your personal information.

Data retention

We keep your data as long as your account is active. If you close your account, we delete your operational data within a reasonable period, keeping only what we need for billing history, fraud prevention, and legal obligations.

Your choices

  • You can update your profile any time in Settings.
  • You can export your loads to CSV from Settings.
  • You can request account deletion by using the Contact page.
  • You can manage billing (update card, cancel) via the Stripe Customer Portal linked in Settings.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest by our infrastructure providers. Access is restricted to authorized personnel. No system is 100% secure — if we ever discover a breach that materially affects you, we will notify you promptly and describe what happened and what we are doing about it.

Children

The Service is not intended for anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version.
